The Thalia neighborhood has a long
and interesting history, including the Summerville Plantation and the Camp Ashby
Prisoner of War camp (once located on a site off Thalia Creek and
now owned by Willis Wayside). Deni Norred-Williams
is currently writing a history of Thalia and invites contributions to her research.
