The BOARDWALK HISTORY FAIR
APRIL 28, 2007
in Celebration of 400 years of local History during the
400th Anniversary of the First Landing at Cape Henry
An outgrowth of the Historical Society's ongoing 'Community Roots Program', the History Fair was spearheaded by Society Past President and City Council woman, Barbara Henley. The Neptune Fest Events organized the event, along with the support of the City of Virginia Beach and the Virginia Beach 2007 Committee. Society Volunteers helped spread the word and get individuals and groups together to tell as many local stories as possible.
It was a fun time for Everyone!!
Here are photos of some of the displays.
