The courthouse structure in the former village of Princess Anne Courthouse was completed for the January 1823 session of county court. Prior to this, four other county seats existed at other locations in Princess Anne County. The courthouse is located in the Virginia Beach Municipal Center complex and is the geographic center of the City. Due to extensive renovations and additions, the courthouse in not on the Virginia Landmarks Register. |
